This particular airbrush interested me because it has a powerful compressor with 1/8 horsepower airbrush. I usually use the more powerful airbrushes for my art. To make it more convenient for me when I have to move about this is light-weight therefore portable and compact. Another thing that I like so that there are no accidents is that it has an automatic shut off feature which puts my mind at ease especially if I have to hurry off for something or another. Other super features are a pressure regulator with gauge and water trap filter which gives you the precise adjustment of airflow, it reduces pulsation and you are ensured to get clean, dry air. A feature which is important for me in my busy life is that its maintenance free because there’s an oil-less piston motor, low noise which I’m particularly fond of because when I create I need to concentrate and a lot of noise distracts me. All of you artists also know how important it is to have an airbrush that can be used with most types of paint media and this one works well with watercolors, acrylics, inks, dyes and automotive urethanes.

This one made me curious so I thought I’d try it out. Multi-Purpose Airbrush Kit-Air Compressor/Createx Paint. This one has a dual action gravity feed airbrush which I prefer. Also comes with auto on/off shutoff and has an air regulator with gauge and water trap filter and a really great Createx brand 6 primary colors airbrush paint set and all the equipment you need with this. This one’s also quiet which I always make sure of in airbrushes. Best yet it fits with almost any paint color media and usage applications and I put in a lot of variety into my work. Those 6 primary paint colors it comes with are ideal because I’m always running out of this and that when it comes to paints. It’s a real ease to work with and that’s definitely one important feature. I’d say this is worth taking a look at.

Gave the Campbell Hausfeld FP209499 3-Gallon Air Compressor a try. Right away from the start I can tell you I liked the design and it has this really easy to understand control panel so you don’t feel like you’re at the controls of a jet plane or something. My top favorite is that it has a three-gallon tank so you get more stored air power and it’s got a cooler-running motor which I consider quite important considering the hours I spent on my airbrush pictures. This compressor also comes with an accessory kit which is really great since I’m always losing something or another and it’s great to get additional supplies any time. This item is especially super for inflation, brad nailing, stapling and air brushing. Checking out the accessory kit I found that it includes a 25 ft. recoil hose, a blow gun, a female couple, two inflation needles, two male plugs, air chuck, inflation adapter, tapered inflation nozzle and PTFE tape this covers about half the stuff I always seem to be misplacing and you can never have enough at hand is what I think. A lot of airbrush artists like it because it’s not noisy. If you’re not an artist then you’ll be glad to know that this particular compressor also inflates balls and tires. Last but not least in great features for this compressor is the it’s lightweight which is always important to me.

I became curious about this item because it’s black and green and stands on its own little feet. This is the Grex AC 1810-A 1/8 HP 120-V Portable Piston Air Compressor. Now if you caught that word right then yes it’s lightweight therefore portable and I always prefer any compressor that’s easy to carry around. I don’t always work in one place and with this compressor I can just put it in my car and zip off. It’s also got a quick airbrush system setup which is important to me because occasionally I give demonstrations and there’s no time to fuss. Love that it’s easy to maintain because it has oil-less piston design and performs at top peak which is important for professionals. Another super feature is that it’s got a set and lock regulator that prevents settings from changing in the locked position which is great for me since I almost got one piece messed up when the compressor I was working with changed position in midstream. Many other features which make this particular item worth taking notice of.

Grex Genesis.XB Double Action Bottom Siphon Airbrush, 0.3mm Nozzle, 30ml Bottle. This is a nifty little Item which has been designed for quick and fast color changes and it’s really great for T-shirts, murals and multiple color applications. It makes those big and complex projects an ease to do. I tried it several ways but basically the suggested applications for this airbrush include illustration, fine arts, textiles, and signs among others. Another thing which I particularly like is that it’s easy to clean up and it also has a preset adjustment knob for precise paint volume control which is super for me since I’ve found with others I’ve gotten too much or too little paint.

I like the look of this airbrush because it has a great pistol design trigger and all. Grex Genesis.XT Double Action Pistol Style Trigger Side Gravity Airbrush, 0.35-mm Nozzle, 7ml and 15ml Cups. This one’s a breeze to use because it’s got a double action trigger pull which controls both air and paint. It gives the airbrush artist precise control for work that is finely detailed which I particularly like. Another thing that I enjoyed while doing work with this airbrush is that it has interchangeable and 360 degree adjustable side mount reservoirs and this is another item that has that great preset adjustment knob that helps me control how much paint I’m using. Super feel while holding it for long periods of time and my hand didn’t get tired. Among other suggested application this one’s also good for food and cake decorating for anyone who’s interested. I also found that it did wonders on precision and I’ve had a hard time locating airbrushes which give me this great advantage. This one’s worth the money.

Paasche VL-SET Double Action Siphon Feed Airbrush Set. First off this airbrush got my attention because it comes with three head sizes .55mm, .7mm, and 1mm. It’s also got double and single action. I like the idea that the parts that come with this airbrush are durable because I can be rough on my equipment basically that when I create I get lost in my work and I don’t have time to worry about breakable parts. So for me durability is one of the top features. It’s also adaptable to water or solvent based paint and cleaning up is simple to do which I always look for in a product because I’m usually wiped out by the time I’m done with my work.

12 Createx Colors Airbrush Paint Set Basic Kit. I don’t know about other airbrush artists but I’m so creative that I constantly need to replenish my paint supplies so I like kits which I can purchase and get plenty of colors. It can get tedious if you have to always search for that one color which is missing. In this kit I like it that the colors are bright and when applied don’t seem transparent. In fact working with them I noticed that the created picture really stands out and if I’m making something memorable I want it to jump out at you not fade away in the background. Another super thing is these colors can be used on many different surfaces which is very important to me and won’t rub off. Createx offers matte, fluorescent and opaque colors. 

The Big Book of Airbrush Techniques and Materials. Techniques and materials are the word that leapt out at me. Now if you’re like me even though I consider myself a professional in the making and I know quite a lot already I realize that there can always be room for improvement. Beside at this point while still trying to make a name for myself in airbrushing I can always use a couple of pointers. So I came across this spectacular book. The author of this book is Jose M. Parramon who is a prominent artist and teacher. Love the illustrations and the step-by-step instructions which make this book a great handbook and guide in the art of airbrush painting. You can also view the works of some of the world-renowned airbrush artists. I’m in the process of giving a try to some specific techniques right now and it’s all working out even better than I hope which pleases me greatly. All of you airbrush artists or those who want to be definitely take a look at this particular book. You’ll be glad you did. 

Then there’s the Airbrush Artist’s Pocket Palette. A really colorful book that just sort of leaps out at you. This book’s packed with terrific techniques so that you can learn to create hundreds of different effects and textures.This book is helpful to me so that I can perfect some of the things I have difficulty in creating like realistic effects to make the picture I’m airbrushing say hey to everyone around. If your already into airbrushing and know quite a bit this book’s for you because at least for me it has already given me plenty of new ideas for materials and colors and textures to try out. It’s definitely a book I now keep at arm’s length especially when I have started to create something and something somewhere seems not quite what I was looking for so at this point I consult my book and before you know it I’m back on the right track and that’s the most that any airbrush artist can hope for.
